In 2023, we conducted a study to examine the impact of the mobile library bus intervention on children aged 5 to 9 years old residing in a low-income neighbourhood. Findings showed that a majority of the children living in the neighbourhood had limited access to print and digital reading resources at home due to families’ lack of awareness of library resources and procedures.
